Thanks to Cliff Obenauer for letting us know about Marie:
"Our friend Marie (Scarfi) Kooney passed away Sunday night after a 5 year battle with brain cancer. The mass is Thursday 10/19 at 10am at St. Ann's on Eastern Ave in Ossining. with a lunch afterward at the Briarcliff Manor. I'm not sure where this is, but there should be more info at the mass. No details on a wake as yet, or if in fact there will be one."

No wake, just the mass.

Historic Ossining Video

This video produced by Ossining Village Historian, Dana White, shows Ossining in its glory days... the Ossining we grew up in.  It's sad to watch the beautiful historic buildings disappear in the name of "urban renewal," but it's worth taking the time to watch and reflect on the wonderful years that we all remember.

65@70 Birthday Bash in the Carolinas?

Following our 50th reunion last year, many people expressed an interest in not waiting until our 55th to get together again.  With that in mind, some conversation has taken place among classmates on Facebook regarding planning a 65@70 Birthday Bash in the Carolinas in the Fall of 2017.   I'm willing to organize a gathering in the Charlotte, NC area and Rita Rolls Beirne has offered to help with organizing something in the Charleston, SC area.  We could do one or the other location or BOTH.  It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive from one area to the other, so we could plan events in both places over several days.  It's not too soon to start thinking about this, so please contact me to let me know if you'd be interested in attending and which area you'd prefer... or if you'd be willing to go to both areas.  Many people have already offered to help in any way they can.
