We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Joe Taxiera. Thoughts and prayers are with Phyllis, her sons, and their entire family.
Viewing will be at Dorsey Funeral home on Emwilton Place from 2 to 5 on Sunday, February 12th and the funeral service will be Monday at 10 at St Augustine Church on North Highland
Avenue.

It is
with deep regret that we announce the passing of Joseph Taxiera,
Village of Ossining Fire Department Dispatcher #27. Joe has served as
one of our Head Dispatchers since November 2003. Joe was a member of
Ossining Hose Company from December 1966 to June 2013, during that time
he held the position of Foreman and Commissioner. Services are being
held as follows , wake scheduled for Sunday February 12th, 2PM till 5PM at Dorsey Funeral Home. Funeral service scheduled for Monday, February 13th,
10AM at St. Augustine's Church. Any member wishing to attend please do so in civilian attire.

Thanks for keeping me in touch with Ossining crowd. Moved my mother
to live with us in 2008 and have not been back tho hear from her
friends and patients that are still around. She will be 99 in April and
is currently in a nursing home with Alzheimer's-- still smiling tho and
answers to Dr Ames.
