David Perugini

Tony Blaumauer – the older brother of our classmate Frank Blauer – has been a good friend to my father (Philip Perugini, Head Custodian at OHS during our school years). He takes him to play golf and on various outings to ’tip a few’ together. Last week I was picking up my Dad at one such outing at the American Legion Post 1597 in Crotonville, when Tony said, “Check out who’s behind you — from the Class of '65!” It was John (‘Jack’) Garrett, looking good, trim and very much like the Jack we knew in 1965! It turns out that Jack often accompanies my father and Tony on their golf outings. Jack explained that he had planned to attend our 50th, but a last minute family situation interfered.
