Bellini & Shull Reunion
During a recent trip to our home in SC, my husband and I enjoyed getting together with Ken and Heidi ("Killer") Shull. Ken, who is a certified BBQ judge, was judging a competition in Lexington, NC. and we arranged to meet there. We had great conversation as we walked around town and then had dinner at a great BBQ restaurant. (BTW, Ken, ate salad for dinner, after eating about 2 pounds of meat while judging!)

We Mourn the Passing of Ervin Horton
Ervin Horton's niece Kia just informed me that Ervin passed away last
year. I'm trying to get more details, but thought, by the number of
birthday wishes we all sent him (on Facebook) the other day, that you'd want to know
at least something. Ervin was a really fine person. He'll be missed.- David Perugini

Sherry Dykstra Diaz
Message posted on Facebook by Classmate Sherry Dykstra Diaz:
My grandson, Michael Anthony Sheridan, was blessed with a baby boy on November 15, 2013. But the night before Thanksgiving -- a mere 10 days later -- my grandson was hit by a habitual drunk driver and sustained serious, life-threatening injuries.
It was a hit and run! Michael, in an
effort to save money on gas, was struck down on his small motorcycle
heading home to be with his 10-day-old son, Michael Anthony Sheridan,
Jr., who we call “MiniMike” or “Junior.”

Since Thanksgiving Eve, Michael Sr. has been in the hospital -- and in
the ICU for 6 days! He has a collapsed lung, lacerated kidney, 3 broken
ribs, bruised bladder, and lacerated both hands. At the hospital, they
found a spot on his lung and are running tests. Whatever the outcome of
those tests, it will be a very long healing process. The doctors expect
he will be unable to work for at least two to three months!
Michael Sr. and his family live paycheck to paycheck with no money left over for savings. This 20-year-old is a member of our country’s working poor and works very hard to support his young family.
He needs your help with basic expenses, including rent, water, electric and phone and of course items for the baby like diapers and formula. Another family tragedy occurred to Kara, who was breastfeeding MiniMike when Mike Sr. had the accident. The shock of the hit-and-run caused her milk to dry up. While Mike Sr. was in the hospital, Kara had to switch over to formula, another unexpected expense for the family.
Anything you can give to help this family would be greatly appreciated! - See more at: http://www.youcaring.com/help-a-neighbor/help-a-new-father-hit-by-a-drunk-driver-on-thanksgiving-eve/113317#sthash.i4cDccnJ.dpuf

Want to Help Sherry's grandson AND accessorize you house at the same time?
Ric Feeney has generously offered his art on behalf of Sherry's family. If any classmate wishes to purchase one of his watercolors, Ric will donate at least HALF of the price to Michael and Christina Sheridan.
Please visit Ric's website for a look at his extraordinary watercolors and contact him directly with your intentions to apply your purchase towards the Michael Sheridan Fund.

David Perugini and John Creber Meet in Upstate NY
Where's the best place to meet classmates? Kohl's Department Store in Watertown, NY, of course! David Perugini and John Creber recently ran into each other there. After a half-hour or so chat, they
parted but ran into each other once more at a nearby Panera's Restaurant
- so the mini-reunion continued.
